Job Title:                   1st Level CCNA Support Engineer
Employment Type:    Full-time and causal options available
Salary:                      $50k –$ 65k depending on experience

Overview

The successful CCNA applicant will be required to provide 1st level support to ViaIP’s clients MPLS Networks. In this role you will be part of ViaIP’s highly professional, customer focused, Network Operations Centre (NETOPS).

  • Client contact with NETOPS is either by telephone or E-mail
  • Client contacts are logged in our ITSM system, where they are tracked and escalated pre-sales engineer.
Key skills and Attributes
  • Be well presented with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Confidently provide advice and guidance to clients as required
  • Have the ability to initiate trouble shooting activities to determine the cause of issues.

In addition the successful applicant will also be required to

  • assist in configuring and distributing Cisco CPE routers to client sites
  • implement network changes
  • assist in Network design and documentation under the direction of senior Network engineers
