Overview

Via IP is looking for experienced professional Business Development Manager to be the face of the company out in the market. The successful applicant will represent ViaIP at the customer interface and in any revenue generating area of the business.

  • This is an external sales role - prospecting new clients via direct sales approach.
  • The primary objective is to establish decision maker meetings accompanied by a ViaIP pre-sales engineer.
  • As the BDM you will then manage the opportunity from business proposition in conjunction with pre-sales engineer - through to closing the deal.
Key Skills and Attributes
    The BDM should be
  • well presented
  • an excellent communicator, both in person and via media
  • able to prepare concise proposals, displaying quality grammar skills and excellent presentation
  • self managed and motivated to achieve agreed targets
  • high skill levels in Microsoft Office suite
  • good general knowledge of the communications industry
  • background knowledge in IT and data related industries
  • experience in solution sales with extended close periods
Remuneration

Up to $90 - $100K per annum base PLUS 9% Super Five weeks holiday per year, plus one Quarterly RDO Laptop, Mobile Phone and 3G Wireless Internets is also included.

In addition, a commission structure will be discussed during the interview process. Our commission structure is flexible and aims to reward over achievers. y and tomorrow.
